Little Paxton

THE U8s suffered their first defeat of the season, when they lost 3-1 at home to Ramsey B.

In a game that was pretty much end-to-end, it was Ramsey who took advantage of

Paxton's misses.

Paxton took the lead midway through the first period when a long range shot from Sean Haran took a horrible bobble just as the goalkeeper was about to make a simple save, and the ball ended up in the net.

That was pretty much it for Paxton after that, as they spent the rest of the game chasing down a hard working Ramsey side.

James Pearman had a good game in the Paxton goal and Ramsey could of had more if it were not for him.

Ramsey scored in the second period to level the game, but they ran away in the final period, scoring two more goals.

Needingworth

THE U11s beat a determined Little Paxton side, 4-3, with goals from Innes Christison (2), giving them a 2-1 lead at half time.

Great defensive play, particularly from MoM Joseph Bradshaw, and magnificent saves from Tom Mount kept Needingworth ahead in the second half, and two further goals from Christison secured the win, despite two late Paxton strikes.

ALL good things come to those who wait. And Priory U8Ts had to wait longer than most for their second win of the season - which came at Great Paxton at the

With the season half finished, Parkside had only won one game, back at the start of October. They lost the other nine games, including their first match against Great Paxton.
