MASS celebrations greeted the final whistle after Priory U11B smashed their way to the league title with the 4-1 demolition of Chatteris.

Much to the surprise of the army of supporters, Priory found themselves a goal down after just three minutes. Jared Taylor managed the equaliser just before the break and the second half was one way only.

Skipper Nathan George hit a screamer from outside the box and Alfie Judd hit a cross-come-shot into the far top corner. Five minutes from time Judd added his second by slotting the ball home from inside the box to make the final score 4-1.

Alconbury

WHOLE-HEARTED commitment wasn't quite enough for the U7 Blues at Somersham as they suffered a 5-1 defeat. Harrison Lacey scored the only goal and Sam O'Reilly turned in a brave defensive display.

The U7 Reds fared little better when they entertained Somersham Black with the latter running out 5-2 winners. The home goals came from Matthew Harvey and Louis Spicer but the visitors were always in control.

Swaversey Spartans just nicked a close game against the U14s. Jonney Collins netted twice but three goals for the Spartans gave Alconbury too much to do.

The U9s lost 4-1 against Ramsey despite a goal from Sam Kingswell.

Bluntisham

CALUM Taylor hit a hat-trick as the U9s ran out 5-2 winners against Needingworth with two goals coming from Toby Davies.

The U10 Reds drew 2-2 at St Ives Rangers S thanks to goals from Luke Young and Harry Taylor while the U10 Whites won 10-3 at Bluntisham Blasters.

Brampton Spartans

GOALS from Josh Matcham, Thomas Thackray and two from Will Brackley helped Spartans U8 to a 4-3 friendly victory against Buckden Youth.

The U9 Blues lost 7-4 to Little Paxton despite doubles from Tom Snare and Archie Smith while the U9 Reds drew 1-1 with St Ives thanks to a Jack Findlay effort.

Buckden

VISITORS Ramsey proved tough nuts for Buckden U7s, who fell to a 7-2 defeat. Rams had taken a five goal advantage before the home team managed their first strike but Rams scored goals either side of the home side's second to reach a comfortable result.

Eaton Socon

THE U12s thrashed Swavesey 10-0 with hat-tricks for Rhys Harvey and Ollie Broome, two from Callum Rose and one from Liam Watts and Taylor Matheron.

Godmanchester

DEPLETED Goddy U12s journeyed to Royston but suffered a heavy defeat. Simon Zientek and Sean Olley netted two each but home attack ran riot and nailed nine past a stretched defence with only goalkeeper Ryan Palmer keeping the score down.

Huntingdon Rowdies

JAKE McFarlane scored a fine goal but it wasn't enough for the U9s as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of St Ives Rangers.

Little Paxton

THERE were seven goals for the U9s when Brampton were the visitors. Shae Humphrey netted a fine hat-trick with the other goals being credited to Samuel Squire, Ross Cook and Alex Turner.

Needingworth

STRIKES from Ben Casey and Daniel Turnbull were not enough for the U9s as they went down 5-2 to Bluntisham Blasters.

Priory Parkside

SMART play gave the U10S side a fine 3-1 win over Warboys. An Adam Walker header gave them the lead and Blake Rivers netted a second. Ben Loader then rifled in a 20-yarder before Warboys scored their consolation goal.

The U9Ms managed a 4-2 win at the expense of Somersham Black, with Matt Williamson scoring a goal and having a fine game.

Two goals each from Harrison Seymour and Tyler Brown helped the U9C side win 6-0 at Somersham, with Harvey Wilsher and an own goal rounding off the win.

Ramsey

CHARLIE Jenkins hit a hat-trick as the U7s won 7-2 at Buckden Juniors - Peter Reeve got two with Leo Medhurst and Andrew Cooke also netting.

The U8As won 3-0 against Whittlesey thanks to two from Jamie Short and one from Matthew Walker.

Goals from Glenn Ferrier, Blaize Walker-Gleeson, Matthew Howes and an own goal helped the U9As to a 4-1 win against Alconbury.

The U9Bs won 2-0 against Great Paxton with Sam Medhurst and Billy Lemmon on target while Liam Parish hit the consolation for the U12s as they lost 6-1 to West Wratting.

The U10As won 5-1 against KC Cougars with two from Rowan Abraham, one each from David Sayer and Zak Stevens, plus an own goal.

Jordan Hunwin and Jordan Mays hit two each with one apiece for Dan Wing and Marco Fiore in a 6-2 victory against Great Paxton.

Sawtry

JIMMY Goff Snr managed the U9s for his last game and saw his well-prepared team defeat St Ives 4-2. Kieren Shelton netted the first and Goff Jnr grabbed number two. The same players added another goal apiece to make sure of a fine result to complete the season.

The U7s won by the odd goal in 11 against Willingham Wolves. Wolves savaged Sawtry from the start and built up a 4-0 lead but Louis Crisp sent them packing with four goals and after a goal each from Daniel Hubbard and Kian Ince.

Somersham

DESPITE a brave fightback, the U9 Blacks went down 4-2 to Priory Parkside M, while the U9 Golds lost out 6-0 against Priory C.

St Ives Rangers

HONOURS were even after the Rangers U7F and U7T sides fought out a 4-4 draw. In a game with lots of goal mouth action, the F goals came from Oliver Smith with a brace, George Cawte and James Elvin.

Three goals by the U9S were enough to see off a good Rowdies team 3-1. Adam Roberts gave Rangers the lead and Matthew Wright added a brace in an entertaining game.

The U9GAs fought their way to a 2-0 home win against Stukeley Meadows. Callum Stocking and Harry Carlisle bagged the goals.

Rangers U13B dispatched 32 goals past their hapless opponents in two games at the week-end. Papworth went down 8-0 with five Rangers goals from Jack Barber, two for Doulton Kingston and Tom Johnson.

The second game was a complete mis-match as Ramsey picked 24 goals out of their net. Barber, Kingston, Tom Stevenson, Jamie Lee-Lines, Jeff Black, Ryan Amato, Adam Guitart, Kieran Enticknap and Sam Taylor all joined in the fun.

St Neots

BACK-to-back games against Baldock proved a tough test for the U7s, who managed a 4-2 win but lost 6-1 in the second encounter. Joseph Watling, Callan Irvine and two strikes from Elliot Thorpe made it a good team performance in the first game but they only had a James Parker strike to show for their efforts.

Stukeley Meadows

GREAT work by defender Matty Wright and a fine game by Ben Witten failed to stop the U9 team falling to a 2-0 defeat at St Ives.

Warboys

A DISPLAY of good football from in-form Warboys U7 gave Huntingdon Rowdies little chance in this 7-1 win. Dillan Scott and Harry England flew the flag with a hat-tricks and Taylor Gilmore netted number seven from the spot.
