PRIORY U9A beat Godmanchester 3-1 on the last day of the season to clinch the U9A league title. Cameron Harris gave Priory a deserved lead but Godmanchester drew level from a well taken free-kick.

Priory dominated with Alex O'Hara, Lewis Ager and Harris controlling the midfield and creating many chances. Priory top scorer Josh Unwin then went on a fine run and calmly finished to give Priory the lead. Lewis Ager completed the scoring when he stepped up and hit a trademark 20-yard thunderbolt.

Alconbury

TWENTY goals were scored when the U7 Blues visited Caldecote, but Alconbury could only manage six of them. The Alconbury goals were scored by Jacob Pack and Harris Lacey with doubles, a Ben Rycroft strike and an own goal.

The U7 Reds got very close to a win against Warboys as they lost by the odd goal in nine. Matthew Harvey bagged a hat-trick; Louis Spicer added the fourth.

Bluntisham

THERE was a well-deserved 4-1 win for Blasters U9s against Priory after goals from Charlie Edwards-Ainge, Toby Davies, Calum Taylor and Jack Deadman.

The U10 Reds finished the season on a high with a 4-2 win over Priory. After falling behind to an early goal Blasters levelled from the spot through Luke Young, then took a half-time lead when Harry Taylor netted. Young completed his hat-trick either side of Priory's second strike.

Blasters U10 White made it a good day all round with a comprehensive 6-2 win over Priory T. Rowan Wilson bagged a first half hat-trick, Dean Worrall hit a brace and Ben Johnson made it six.

Brampton

SPARTANS U8s worked hard to earn victory over a well-organised Somersham team who took the lead in the first period. Spartans had the last laugh with goals from Will Brackley and Toby Le.

Buckden

TWELVE goals were shared when Buckden U7s visited Somersham Black. Buckden took the lead on five occasions only to see the lead pegged back by an enthusiastic Blacks outfit.

Godmanchester

CAMERON Corden opened the scoring for Goddy U10B, but St Ives levelled before the break. Goddy were gifted an own goal just after the restart, Alec Bryden was on the spot to grab the third and Nathan Brown added number four before Ives netted their second to complete the scoring.

Goddy U10A finished the season with a 100 per cent record, playing 17 games in both league and cup, winning all 17 and scoring 101 goals.

The final game was a tense affair against closest rivals Priory R and it was Goddy who eventually ran out 4-3 winners.

Priory took the lead but Goddy fought back immediately with goals from Matt Allan and a towering header from George Mead. Priory levelled the score only to see Goddy produce two quick goals from Peter Southee and Calum Harcourt.

The U9s lost 3-1 at Priory in abysmal weather conditions. Alfie Toseland hit the equaliser from a free-kick but Priory scored a further two.

Great Paxton

THREE conceded goals in the final 15 minutes left Paxton U9s 5-3 losers against Priory. Two goals from Morgan Thomas and one from Claudia Lee looked to be enough but Priory had other ideas.

Little Paxton

THE odd goal in seven was enough to give the U10s a hard-earned win against Graveley. Jake Smith netted an equaliser from the spot and Sean Haran grabbed a brace to give Paxton the edge. Graveley then netted twice to bring the game level before Smith netted his second for the win.

The U9s found the back of the net six times against Bluntisham, who netted three in response. Ross Cook was on fire with a hat-trick and other efforts came from Shae Humphrey, Samuel Squire and Kyle Ottaway.

Priory Parkside

Priory dug deep and a free-kick from Joe Humpston reduced the arrears before Alex Lester finished off the visitors with three more goals to take his tally for the season to 28.

It was a case of no gain without Payne as Thomas Payne netted twice for the U9Cs against St Ives. Lewis Crampton and Harrison Seymour both laid claim to the third after a goal-mouth scramble that left Priory 3-0 winners.

After losing in the U11 cup final to Cambourne last week, Priory J ground out a 4-2 win in the final league game against the same opposition. Harry Lindsell gave Priory the lead just before the break and Callum Kent added number two early in the second half. After Rovers hit back it was Liddell and Matthew Allen who wrapped things up for Priory.
