PRIORY U9L travelled to Ramsey in this League A clash and, as always, faced a hard fought game which finished 0-0.

The home side started the stronger and created a few chances, but failed to find the finish.

The match was evenly balanced throughout, and Priory always looked dangerous on the attack, but also lacked the final killer instinct infront of goal.

Both teams provided a very entertaining match, despite the scoreline, and all the players deserved the applause at the final whistle for their hard efforts.

THE Yellow Sox U10s ran out 3-1 winners against Godmanchester A, in a closely fought game.

Charles Abblitt scored from close range to put the Yellow Sox in front before excellent work down the right by Alex Gale and Shawn Winslow lead to Bradley Smith doubling the lead. Winslow put the Yellow Sox three up with an individual effort which curled into the far corner before Rovers hit back with a spectacular effort that was the goal of the match.

Sawtry's MoM was Bradley Smith, although the team performance was superb again.

THE Bluesox U10 lost 2-1 to Brampton Spartans in what was a highly entertaining game in which Spartans took the lead after 15 minutes.

Sawtry responded well and James Dinsdale, who was having an outstanding game for Sawtry, made his way past the Brampton defence to equalise just before the break.

After the break, Sawtry took the game to Brampton and were unlucky not to go ahead. However, Brampton made the most of their good fortune with a minute to go, forcing the ball in off the bar between four Sawtry defenders.

THE U8 Bluesox were made to work extremely hard for the three points against Priory, but Sawtry eventually ran out 4-3 winners.

Priory went 1-0 up but goals from Ellis Howe and Liam Littlefair gave Sawtry a half-time lead.

After the break, two Priory goals with a further strike from Liam Littlefair set the game up for a frantic finish.

MoM Ellis Howe proved to be the matchwinner. He latched onto a pass from skipper Owen Howard and slotted the ball past the keeper to give Sawtry the points.

A 2-0 home defeat to Buckden Girls did not reflect the effort and performance put in by Rangers U13 Girls. A deflected shot and the failure to clear a loose ball in the penalty area resulted in the two goals that separated the teams.

RANGERS U13A sealed their place in the U13 Hunts Cup final with a gutsy come back over Brampton Spartans. With three players dropping out due to illness, Rangers could only field 10 starters but took the game to their opponents right from the kick-off.

Against the run of play, Rangers found themselves 2-0 down at half-time but fought back to lead 3-2 with five minutes to go courtesy of goals from MoM Sam Davies, Jabir Ahmed and Tom Spark.

An own goal with the last kick of the game brought Brampton level and neither side could find the killer blow in extra time. A tense penalty shoot out saw Rangers hold their nerve to win 4-2.

RANGERS U12A progressed to round three of the knock-out cup with a comfortable 5-0 win over Warboys Colts, thanks in part to a MoM display from Adam Radley.

Alessio Polvere stood in as goalkeeper this week and solid defending saw him largely unoccupied for the majority of the game.

Dan Moulds got Rangers in front very early with super header from an even better Jack Prime corner.

Cameron Anderson, back on the scoresheet for the first time this season, made it 2-0 and then Ryan Potts, running at the defence, hit a shot that went in off the post to make it 3-0.

After this Radley, who was having a good game, came up with the a sublime finish when he hooked the ball beyond the keeper and defender from close range. Captain Jack Prime with the last kick of the ball scored the fifth from a corner.

ST IVES U11As played a league game against their club mates Rangers U11Bs and a superb performance saw them take a 6-0 win. Goals came from Tom Cornwell (2), Jonny Duncan, Mark Walker, Daniel Jackson and Joe Westwood secured the points.

THE U13Bs recorded a well-deserved first win of the season with a 2 -1 victory over Stretham Sporting. A superb display of goalkeeping from Tom Loia earned him the MoM award and the Rangers goal scorers were Barney Hase and Glen Tilbrook.

RANGERS U11Cs put up a battling performance despite losing 6-0 to Rangers U11As, who took their chances well. MoM was stand in goalkeeper Doulton Kingston.

ST IVES U10Ps lost 2-1 to an in-form Rowdies A, who cruised into a 2-0 lead at half-time. After the break, Rangers were more positive and a spell of good Rangers pressure ended with a mis-timed tackle on Danny Bell who brushed himself down to neatly dispatch the resulting penalty. Despite a host of good chances, Rangers were unable to find an equaliser.

MoM was keeper Ben Jordan for some fine saves and excellent kicking throughout the game.

MoM was awarded to Jay Kay Hudson for a great all round hard working, goalscoring performance.

RANGERS U8Ms lost 5-2 to Ramsey B despite racing into a two goal lead courtesy of a double-salvo from George Mead.

THE Navy Blues U14s matched champions elect Stevenage Colts for 20 minutes but then conceded three quick goals in succession to give a final score of 3-2.

However, St Neots determination prevented further capitulation and their rewards for an entertaining and battling performance was two goals from Bradley Clack and Michael Hornby.

THE U9s played twice against Letchworth, recording a 5-1 win in the first and a 3-3 draw in the second.

Goalscorers in the first game were Dominic Smith (2), Ross Pirie (2) and Cameron Crisp, while goals from Matthew Gilbert, Cameron Crisp and Lewis Davis ensured a draw in the second game. Aaron Ward was MoM in the first game and Ben Hickling won the award for his performance in the second game.

THE U9s then played twice against Biggleswade, losing the first 2-0 and drawing the second 3-3. Goalscorers were Cameron Crisp and Dominic Smith. MoM were Harry Cator and Ben Kearnes.

THE U8 Blue Team played a good Royston team and unfortunately went down 2-1. Hardwork throughout should have produced a fairer result and, despite creating enough chances to score more goals, it just did not happen. Goalscorer was Ben Bradbury and MoM was Jordan Elt.

SQUAD: Jordan Elt, Ashely Hicks, Aiden King, Rosh Rea, Tom Hall, Ben Bradbury, Charlie Gough.

THE White Team also gave an excellent performance against the other half of the Royston team and came out 2-0 winners. Some excellent team play and hardwork gave the team their rewards.

SAINTS U7 Blues had a convincing 7-0 win away at Letchworth, making it 10 games since they last conceded.

Topscorer Reece Sibley gave Saints the lead with a well taken volley on the turn, before he doubled the lead and a deflected shot from Sibley made it 3-0 at the break.

After the interval, Sammuel Pieese fired in a corner which came to MoM Owen Bevan who ripped a trademark volley past the Letchworth keeper.

The excellent Yohan Shone then made it five before a thunderous strike from Bevan found the bottom corner. Shone then doubled his day's tally after good work Henry Vaudin

THE U7 Whites recorded a 3-2 win over Letchworth after a pulsating, end-to-end game.

Sam Bloy opened the scoring for Saints before a fantastic solo run and sublime finish made it 2-0.

Letchworth battled back to 2-2 but a thunderbolt of a shot from Nathan Downes gave St Neots a deserved three points.

MoM Ronny Wheeler gave a sound performance at the back and also went close on many occasions and first team striker Reece Sibley gave an excellent performance as stand in keeper.
