It’s been a season to savour for one Little Paxton Colts team.

The club’s Under 16 side stormed to Cambridge & District Colts League title glory in impressive style – dropping just two points from 22 games to capture the Division C crown.

Simone Warren’s side won 21 of their 22 league games and boasted the leading scorer in the age group thanks to 51-goal Bradley Emmett. Faris Moussa’s eight clean sheets was also the best return of any goalkeeper.

It’s an exciting time for the club as they become a key partner of the new Little Paxton Hub which officially opens this weekend.

The club will run 12 teams next season in addition to their ‘Tackling Tots Club’ which is open to four-to-six year-olds and currently has places available. Marcos Eguia on 07946 106107 is the contact.

Little Paxton’s Under 9s (coached by Ryan Askinazy on 07739 709546) Under 11s (Ross Barnard on 07815 588664), Under 16s (Tony Storey on 07961 759094) and Under 12 girls (Nicole Lydon – 07850 049568) are all keen to add new players to their squads.
