Bluntisham Blasters White Under 16s are celebrating a quickfire double in a season to savour . . . and they could yet make it a treble.
The village side have captured title honours and cup glory in the Cambridge & District Colts League in recent days.
The sealed the Division A crown with a 3-3 draw at closest challengers Littleport Town last Tuesday night when Jordan Locke, Jack Buchan and Harvey Bullin netted.
And two of those players – Buchan and Bullin – also struck when their side lifted the League Cup last Sunday when beating Royston Town Hearts 3-2. Josh Rathen was the other player to find the net in a showpiece clash staged at the Cambridge Stadium venue.
The Blasters, who are sponsored by JRD Mouldings and Weldlogic Europe Ltd, can complete a treble when facing St Neots in the Hunts Cup final at Yaxley this Sunday.
