Alconbury went in 1-0 up thanks to a good move involving Danny Duckworth and Jordan Forshaw, leaving Ryan Son with a tap-in.

The second half saw Brampton attack the Alconbury defence, equalising and tying the game.

MoM went to Jack Sheppard.

Goals came from Tom Cooke (3) and Jack Mace. Alconbury fielded a less experienced side against Brampton, losing 5-0.

Valuable experience was gained despite the scoreline.

Bluntisham Rangers

BLUNTY U12Bs beat Godmanchester Rovers Cs 4-1, continuing their winning streak.

Goals came from Marcus Skelton, Harry Burrows and Craig Allen (2).

MOM was Matthew Burroughs.

THE U8As ran out 5-2 winners in an entertaining game against Comberton Crusaders.

The visitors took the lead in the first period before a brace from the energetic Rowan Wilson gave Blunty a 2-1 lead.

Captain Taylor Jugg ran tirelessly and her commitment was rewarded when Rangers added further goals from Luke Young and Harry Taylor to make the score 4-1.

Despite a great reaction save Rangers goalkeeper Chris Lucas could not stop the Crusaders striker sliding in to score.

Toby Davies, Jack Fairhurst, Christian Wiggins-Browne and Connor Beaumont had worked hard in defence to keep things tight at the back.

MoM Ben Johnson scored the final goal for Blunty.

Brampton Spartans

THE U13s took on Hemingford in the cup quarter finals, coming away with a 2-0 defeat.

Hemingford beat Spartans in the league 5-0 last week, but Brampton performed much better this time round.

Hemingford took the lead before half-time.

Despite good play from Brampton, Hemingford stretched their advantage in the second half with a another goal.

Brampton battled hard and were disappointed to be leaving the competition.

SPARTANS U11s fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with local rivals Alconbury.

Spartans dominated the game and only good defending and a fine performance by the Alconbury keeper kept the visitors in the match.

Brampton's only reward was a second-half penalty by Jack Snare as Alconbury kept the game alive right to the final whistle in an entertaining match.

SPARTANS U10s beat Sawtry 5-0 to progress to the quarter final of the cup.

Brampton scored after only three minutes through James Downing.

Chrisitian Le then struck a long-range shot which found the net to extend Spartans' lead to two.

Some good inter-play led to an Adam Pedlar goal soon after.

James Downing then put Adam Pedlar through again to give Brampton a 4-0 advantage going into the break.

Adam secured his hat-trick early in the second half.

Solid defence from Jack Cooper and Noah Foster, along with the goalkeeping of Evan Restall and Ellery Pullin, kept Sawtry out and gave Brampton the win.

A BRAMPTON U10s development side took on Alconbury, coming away 6-0 winners.

Jake Hays scored in the first minute of the game to set the tone of what was to follow.

Chris Parker scored seven minutes later to extend the lead.

Alconbury put together some fine attacking play but the combined defence of George Wooff and Ryan Morgan, along with some excellent goalkeeping from Jamie Major, kept the sheet clean for Spartans.

Brampton made changes in the second half, but they continued to dominate.

Jack Hays scored his second early-on in the half, before Jools Arts took one and James Thackray took a brace to seal the game.

Chris Hartley quickly took a hat-trick, whilst Alex Conner and Josh Creber were impressive in midfield.

Harry Cotton went on to score a hat-trick, with strikes from Max Bradshaw Clifford and Luke Fennell completing the scoring and sealing the win.

HARRIERS U13s Girls took on Fulbourn away, coming away with a 1-0 win. Buckden were dominant in the first half, the Fulbourn goalie keeping out shots from Sophie Coulman, Kim Lynch, Becky Rowan and Emily Trebes.

Harriers continued to pressure in the second half, scoring through Miquela McDonald after she got onto a great pass, held off a strong challenge and fired the ball home from close range to end the Fulbourn resistance.

Player of the Match was Loren Ellard.

THE U10Bs met Warboys in a friendly, narrowly losing 1-0. The team played to their full ability with notable performances from captain Jake Burrill, goalie and MoM Tom Marrion and defender Harley Green.

Despite a tremendous effort and great team work, Goddy were unable to snatch a victory and lost 1-0.

GODDY U10Cs played at at home to Graveley, going down 3-0 despite a spirited performance.

The first half ended goalless. Graveley netted two in the second half before keeper Scott Johnston retired due to injury.

Down to six players, Goddy refused to give up but leaked another to lose 3-0.

MOM was Aaron Riseley for his courageous performance.

THE U9s took on Great Paxton, coming away with a 2-1 win.

Paxton took the lead in the first half, before Goddy came on strong in the second half.

Haydon Noble equalised with an overhead kick as Goddy pressured.

A Nathan Storey goal gave Rovers the lead, which they then protected to take the win.

MOM went to Luke Johnstone who played his best game to date.

THE Reds U10s got back to winning ways with a 3 - 0 victory away to Godmanchester Cs.

The Reds missed chances in the first half but a second half hat-trick from Ben McConnell secured victory.

New players Joseph Rounce and Daniel McClure enjoyed great debuts, with Daniel getting MoM for a strong defensive display. Cameron Olley was impressive in goal.

Hemingford

THE U13s progressed to the next round of the cup with an impressive 2-0 win over Brampton.

Hemingford absorbed strong pressure from Spartans in the first half, managing to keep a clean sheet and go one up courtesy of Alex Brown.

The second half followed much the same pattern but Liam Hemming put a tie beyond Brampton's reach with a fine solo effort.

MOM was Alex Henley for his staunch defence.

ROWDIES U14As came from behind against Over Sports to win 5-3 and progress to the semi-finals of the cup.

Huntingdon were 3-1 down at one point but a sterling effort saw them take the win.

MOM Wayne Childerley and Josh Dawkin scored two apiece and Josh Sadler scored the other.

Rangers scored five without reply in the first half, giving Rowdies a mountain to climb.

An improved second-half display saw them tighten their defence, conceding only one goal in the half.

Rowdies scored the only goal of the first half to go into the break 1-0 up.

They then stretched their lead to two early in the second half.

The Rams pulled one back through a penalty before Rowdies conceded an own-goal.

Rams pressed on, making it 3-2 before a determined Rowdies sides levelled the game to share the points.

IN their last game of the season, the U11Bs were unfortunate to lose 3-1 to Cherry Hinton Lions.

The game marked the last time the girls - Megan Stow, Elizabeth Tasker, and Billie Barbary - would compete in the boys team. The game was played on the Huntingdon Town main pitch.

THE U11s played at home against Priory Bees, coming away with a 2-1 win.

Needingworth went 1 - 0 up through top-scorer Innes Christison.

Priory scored an own-goal soon after to extend Needingworth's lead.

Priory kept fighting hard in the second half and came close on a number of occasions. However, a determined Needingworth conceded only one goal to hang on for the win. MoM was Charlie Wood for some stoic defending and support play.

Priory Parkside

PARKSIDE U13As entertained NST Strikers in the league, running out 9 - 1 winners to take them to second in the table.

Priory took a while to settle, but once they found their rhythm they began to dominate. Good pressure from Parkside finally told as they went into the break 3-0 up, courtesy of goals from Kyle Batten, Aiden Maclean (penalty) and Chris Newton.

The second half followed the pattern of the first and as the goal attempts mounted.

Cameron Brettle tapped-in and George Tolliday scored to set the tone for the second half.

Priory allowed NST hope with a goal to make the score 5-1, before Chris Newton, Kyle Batten and Dan Wright all scored to thwart the comeback.

MoM was Dan Birkinshaw.

RANGERS U13As beat Chesterton Eagles 3-1 in round three of the cup.

Will Lygo opened the scoring for Rangers, and they went into the break 1-0 up. Adam Dick doubled the lead early in the second half, rounding off a good move with a powerful finish.

The hosts fought back to 2-1 soon after and laid siege to the Rangers goal in the closing stages.

The Rangers defence held firm and MoM Adam Dick grabbed his second in injury time to send Rangers through to the quarter final.

THE U11As put in a good all-round team performance to beat Eaton Socon 14-0. Hat-tricks came from Daniel Jackson, James Morgan and Mark Walker. The remainder of the goals came from Tom Cornwell (2), Oliver Loia, Joe Westwood and Josh Clark.

ANOTHER gutsy performance from the U11Cs saw them go down 3-1 to table-topping Godmanchester U11As.

Rovers' MoM Alan Owen plagued Rangers throughout the game, proving the difference bewteen the two teams.

The goalscorer for Rangers was Josh Fitzjohn and Rangers MoM was Cuthbert Varley.

The S team started better, leading at once stage 6-2. The Ms put in a spirited fightback to narrow the lead, but were unable in the end to catch-up.

THE U8 Blues played away to Shefford, coming from behind to secure a 2-2 draw. Saints put in a good second-half performance in tough conditions after going behind in the first half.

THE U8 Whites played the second Shefford team and produced some excellent football to win 4-0.

The team were solid throughout, giving them a well-deserved result. Goals came from Joe Keech and Charlie Gough. MoM was Tom Banks.

THE U7 Blues travelled away to Royston, extended their unbeaten run to 14 with a 1-0 win. Striker Yohan Shone came close early-on and some good keeping from MoM keeper Will Smith kept Saints safe and the crowd entertained.

A volley from Owen Bevan was tipped over late in the half to keep the scores level going into the break.

Bevan struck early in the second half with a qulaity finish, putting Saints in control.

Captain Robert Willard and Sammuel Piesse put in solid defensive displays to ensure the win for Saints.

The team dedicated the win to missing top goal-scorer Reece Sibley who was too ill to play.

THE U7 Whites immitated the Blues' successs, coming away 1-0 winners against Royston.

Top-scorer Nathan Downes scored a spectacular goal, beating defenders before firing home a quality finish.

MoM Callum Moore went close on many occasions, but Downes' goal and sound defensive efforts from Ronny Wheeler, Wesley Tilbury and keeper Connor Flint ensured Saints took the win.

THE U11s put in a confident performance to overcome Spalding Athletic 6-2. Playing some exciting passing football, Sawtry scored three goals in each half, with MoM Jack Darke scoring his first hat-trick of the season.

Josh Rosser grabbed a brace and Lawrence Francis also scored.

Brampton took the game to Sawtry and found the net three times in the first 15 minutes.

Sawtry tried to raise their game but with heavy boots they failed to find form.

Brampton managed to score twice more to take the tie 5-0.
