Cambs League Premier Division
ST IVES were keen to finish their season on a high with this tricky away tie and were attacking from the outset. Despite a dominating performance it was most of the first half before Kate Hendry fired the visitors ahead for the interval.
The hosts started strong and soon equalised, and the game looked lost when they won a penalty. Ives keeper Vicky Ray rose to the challenge and stopped Peterborough scoring and spurned on by this save, player of the match Laura Ball showed great flare to set up Vishara Davies to re-establish their lead and finish fourth after a strong campaign.
