The St Neots A side got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 4-1 defeat of near neighbours Buckden A. There were game wins for Clive Hemming, Michael Pope and new club member Raymon Gompelman while draws were recorded by Brian Coop and Colin Emery.

Next up for the A side is a trip to Peterborough Chess Club on Thursday, February 15, while the B team will next be in action at home against Perkins Bishops on Monday February 19.
