Runners from the Huntingdon-based BRJ club are heading to Newcastle later this month to take part in the Great North Run - dressed as cheerleaders.
The club are running the half-marathon distance on September 30 in aid of Diabetes UK, chosen because some members of the club have the condition.
Thirteen of the club's runners will take part in the race. Club captain Alan Hannibal said: "To be taking 13 members of our club and their supporters up north again is fantastic - not only because it means we will hopefully raise more money for our chosen charity but because it really is turning out to be a team event."
