HUNTINGDONSHIRE Football Association is offering women the opportunity to become FA Level 1 qualified coaches in September and October.
The course has been organised specifically for females to attract more women to football coaching and also to provide a less intimidating atmosphere for the female participants involved.
Candidates would ideally be from Huntingdonshire and the surrounding area as the course is non-residential.
Thanks to bursaries from Active Sports, The Football Foundation, Huntingdonshire FA and Cambridgeshire FA, this course will cost candidates £20 instead of the usual £80.
The course runs from the end of September through October and an introductory session is being held at Ramsey Leisure Centre on September 25.
FA Level 3 qualified coach Kate Turney will run the course which is designed as an introduction for females with little experience or knowledge about coaching and can be considered the first step onto the FA coaching ladder.
The course is for females aged 16 years and above on September 1.
