Grafham Water celebrates its ruby anniversary this Saturday and Sunday (July 1 and 2) with special angling events.
Saturday holds a fly fishing competition, a Grafham Water fly fishers inter-club event when 100 anglers will compete in a floating line boat competition.
Sunday offers the lucky trout event, the angler to catch the marked fish will win £1,000. Fishing from the bank is priced at £5 and boat hire £10. Two sessions will run between 7am and 1pm and 2-9pm.
