CAMBS and Hunts Ladies retained the County Week trophy last week after a tight competition at Apsley Guise Golf Club, near Milton Keynes.
Despite losing 5-4 to Bedfordshire last Tuesday, C&H got their campaign going with a 2.5-0.5 victory in the morning foursomes against Suffolk.
Singles wins for Sarah Attwood and St Neots' Paula Parker in the afternoon over Suffolk sealed a 6-3 victory for C&H.
With Bedfordshire having beaten Norfolk 7-2, C&H needed a good win over Norfolk in the final day's play.
A 2-1 victory in the morning foursomes got C&H off to a good start before Norfolk pulled it back with a win in the opening afternoon singles match.
A run of good wins from the C&H ladies in the ensuing matches saw them finish the day as winners by 6.5-2.5.
With Suffolk beating Bedfordshire in the other match of the day, C&H retained the title by a half-point margin.
Captain Sarah Greenall said of the result:
"It was a great team effort.
"The players have shown great determination and spirit, and we're delighted to have retained the trophy."
The team now look forward to the Sub-Divisional finals at Eaton Golf Club, Norwich from July 17 to 19.
