NEW Huntingdon Town manager Darren Young has only been in his post for two weeks - but has already secured a new pitch for the side.
Young has used his business contacts to secure a sponsorship deal with Alconbury-based garden supplies firm Westland Horticulture Ltd.
The firm has pledged thousands of pounds to help Town re-seed the Jubilee Park pitch for next season.
Club chairman Hans Reif said: "We are delighted to receive this donation from Westland that will improve the quality of the playing surface at Jubilee Park.
"The firm has also pledged to provide new tracksuits and kit bags for the team."
Keith Nicholson, head of marketing at Westland Horticulture, said: "We are always keen to put something back into the local community and raise the profile of the company.
