EURO TRIP: Pictured are the six runners from the Huntingdon-based BRJ Road Runners who travelled to Germany for the Hamburg Marathon.
Supported by friends and family, the trip was the first overseas event for many of the runners, some of whom had unluckily missed out on the London Marathon by ballot.
However, Pete Galpin and Anita Girvan were running their second marathon in a fortnight. Both Girvan and Laura Nobles recorded personal bests, while Galpin, taking time out, accompanied debut runner Philip Higgins around the circuit.
Deborah Rostant also recorded a personal bests while Maureen Wickson made up the sextet.
