THE EXTRA water and colour produced an excellent match in the B section in Dolphin Meadow on Sunday.
Winner Chris Geeson fished a stick float with strong flow and an upstream wind making it the ideal method. Chris caught 30lb 4oz of bream and rudd.
Colin Leach, in second place, included a two pound plus rudd in his weight.

ANOTHER club with an excellent first match attendance was Ramsey, where 17 anglers fished at Staffurths Bridge.
Fryer was the winner with bream and tench totalling 37lb.
Ray Steels was second and Ivan Steels came in third with 17lbs 11oz of rudd.

THE SATURDAY series has just one more match to go before the big money final on June 30.

JAY LAKE was the venue for BRJ on Sunday, with a win for Mark Steels. Pete Huddlestone was second, Kelvin Turner finished third, and match secretary Roger Rowley was fourth.

THE SATURDAY Open was fished in heavy rain, with the water level rising throughout. The match was won by John Hurley, with 8lb 12oz.

It took hours of work to restore the lake to normal levels for Sundays Plumb-It challenge, between Spitfires B and Brampton Institute. Brampton provided the top two anglers and also won the team match to progress into the next round.
