A host of county honours are up for grabs this weekend in the Huntingdonshire Indoor Bowling Federation finals.
Huntingdon IBC, in St Peters Road, is the stage for two days of competition with 11 titles on the line in Men’s, Ladies and Mixed competitions - and there are plenty of bowlers chasing success on more than one front.
Ed Elmore will be the busiest player on show as he takes part in four finals – the Men’s Pairs and Rinks events and the Mixed equivalents.
Chloe Brett is gunning for a Ladies and Under 25 Singles double. She also teams up with her opponent in the former event – Rebecca Moorbey – as part of one of the teams in the Ladies Rinks final as well.
Brett’s father Nicky, the former World Indoor Singles champion, features in two Mixed events while Dennis Weston is through to both the Men’s Singles and Senior Singles finals.
The Fenstanton man faces Hemingfords opponent David Peak in the latter event – a repeat of the 2017 final also won by Weston.
