SOMERSHAM Town Youth U7s held their first football tournament on Monday, taking the title after beating Soham in the final.
The Blue squad, above, went undefeated throughout, registering two wins and a draw to reach the final.
A great team display then saw them run out 2-1 winners against Soham to take the win.
Liam Townsend scored five goals throughout the tournament and Liam Papworth scored two, while Adam Proctor was recognised for his ability in both midfield and defence.
Team manager Steve Townsend said: "The lads played well from start to finish and exceeded my expectations."
The Somersham Orange team also performed well, making it to the semi-finals before losing to eventual runners-up Soham.
