THREE second-half goals from Callum Beattie gave a new-look Saints under-18s side a fine win in their opening match of the season.
Goalless at half time, Saints emerged the stronger side and broke the deadlock through Beattie before Royston were reduced to 10 men.
Beattie bagged his second from a Nathan Field cross and completed his hat-trick in the dying stages when he volleyed home a cross from Simon Lane.
