SHELFORD came away convincing winners from the reverse fixture earlier this season but Saints were determined not to meet the same fate.
The visitors dominated the early stages but St Neots weathered the storm and began to make inroads into the opposing half.
Although Shelford dominated the line-out, Saints bossed the scrum with Garry Bailey doing well in an unfamiliar position.
Dan Miller finished a slick passing move to give Saints the lead with Steve Gibson converting but a penalty try drew the scores level at half time.

After the break the weather deteriorated and the forwards began to dominate with man of the match Tom Warboys giving Saints the lead before Shelford again pegged the home side back to earn an honourable draw.
