GODMANCHESTER Rovers slipped to their first Ridgeons League First Division defeat in six matches as they were beaten 1-0 at title-chasing Gorleston on Saturday.
Rovers boast the division’s top scorer in their ranks in Paul Bass, but the striker was unable to add to his tally of 17 and meant that David Hurst’s side returned home empty handed.
This Saturday, it’s back to Bearscroft Lane for the visit of Stowmarket Town (3pm), who are currently sixth in the table and four places higher than Goddy.
