Elliott Baldwin was named the first XI player of the year at Godmanchester Town Cricket Club's annual awards evening.
Keith Coburn, chairman of the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League, was on hand to present the awards on the night.
Godmanchester finished second-to-bottom of the EAPL last season - a league containing a number of former top-class international players.
James Leet, the newly-appointed chairman of Godmanchester Town CC, said: "Presentation nights are a great time to reflect on the previuos season and look forward to the next. Godmanchester Town CC is evolving and there is a buzz throughout the whole club at the moment.
"We have a busy winter ahead in preparation for a big summer next year and as the premier club in the area we have a responsibility to deliver at all levels and we are excited about that task."
The club holds its annual meeting at the ground on Sunday November 26, starting at 7.30pm.
