UCL Division One

Sleaford Town 5 Huntingdon Town 2

A BAD injury to Town midfielder Danny Dolan compounded a miserable afternoon for Huntingdon at high-flying Sleaford.

Manager Paul Swannell praised his side's first half display, which saw the visitors go into the break 2-1 ahead through Jason Dean and Carl Foreman.

However, a second half hat-trick from Matt Lunn and Jason Sedlan's second of the game left Town reeling and the late loss of Dolan in a crunching challenge compounded their agony.

A disappointed Swannell said: "Our defending in the second half was very poor indeed and it's very disappointing after doing so well to come in ahead at half-time.

"Our away form this year has been dreadful and I can't put my finger on why.

"Danny Dolan has picked up some ligament damage in his foot so it looks like he'll be out for some time to come, which is obviously a blow."

Town took on Cambridge United in a friendly fixture last night and host struggling Olney Town at Jubilee Park on Saturday.
