RIVERSIDE Runner Ruth Flory has won the Minor Girls race at the Cambridgeshire Schools Cross Country Championships, held at Hinchingbrooke School at the weekend, in a fantastic time of 13mins 23secs.
FROSTBITE LEAGUE
On Sunday, the fifth leg of the Frostbite league was held at Bourne in Lincolnshire.
In the Junior race of 75 runners, Riverside Juniors had a good run coming home in first place ahead of Hunts AC and Werrington in third place. For Riverside, Suzy Boast had an excellent run coming home in third place, the highest place a girl has finished in the history of the Frostbite. Overall, Riverside are still in second place behind Hunts AC.
In the Senior race of 359 runners, Riverside Veterans come home in fourth place behind Ely, Nene Valley and Bourne. The Seniors finished back in 14th place.
