ON Sunday, Riverside Runner Matt Dowle took part in the 45-mile Ultra race from Tring to London, finishing in an impressive 13th place, with a PB of 6hrs 55mins.
Later that evening, the Junior members of Riverside held their annual presentation at the St Neots Swimming Pool, with the awards presented by club captain, Martyn Blackwell.
Championship award winners were as follows: Overall Girl Champion, Emma Richie; Overall Boy Champion, Tim McGlashan; Over 13 Girl Champion, Emma Ritchie; Over 13 Boy Champion, Tim McGlashan; U13 Girl Champion, Alice Hewitt; U13 Boy Champion, Kurt Sanders; U11 Girl Champion, Alice Hurden. Annual Awards: Boy of the Year, Alan Runham; Girl Of the Year, Katie Entwistle; Most Improved Boy, Kurt Sanders; Most Improved Girl, Katherine Mackay; Most Promising Girl, Ruth Flory; Most Promising Boy, Tom Stead.
