Joey Croft achieved a host of milestones with one fine run recently.
The Hunts AC ace clocked 6.03.03 for the 2000m steeplechase at a British Milers’ Club Grand Prix event in Solihull.
Not only did he knock a shade over 40 seconds off his personal best, he climbed to third in the national Under 20 Men’s rankings and broke two club records which had stood for 43 years.
Croft’s time also met the entry requirement for the English Schools’ Championships.
