Hunts AC scooped mixed team honours in the Bedford 20 mile race yesterday.
The quintet of Darren Matthews, Rod McKee, Sean Barker, Caroline King and Pauline Stocker earned the prize for the local club in an event which featured more than 850 runners.
Matthews finished 17th in 2:15.27 with clubmate McKee one place and two seconds behind. Barker took 22nd in 2:17.44 with King (148th, 2:43.42) and Stocker (336th, 3:04.45) completing their team effort.
Stocker also won the W55 age group with Barker taking bronze in the M50 category.
Eight Huntingdon BRJ Run & Tri members completed the race as well.
John Clark was the fastest finisher in 2:54.42 which earned 225th place. Jane Roberts (274th, 2:59.25), Jerry Lay (406th, 3:14.11), Janet John (660th, 3:43.49), Jo Cooper (676th, 3:46.49), Jacqui Moore (677th, 3:46.49) and Suzie Hall (823rd, 4:24.37) also took part.
