In awful wet conditions, the lake fished extremely well with the anglers averaging more than 20 pounds each.
Ricky Ashwell, in tremendous form recently, caught 58lb 4oz to win the match with Keith Ellington in second weighing 35lb 8oz.
Josh Pace was the best of several close weights to take third place with 14lb 6oz.

Saturday Open
The changing weather produced lower weights than recently on Saturday with Josh Pace, after finishing third on Wednesday, winning the match and a golden peg with 24lb 12oz.
Graham Gooddraw was second with 13lb 11oz from peg 9, and the other weights were very close with Stan just third and also winning the small fish prize with fish all under a pound for 9lb 14oz.

ThE weights were disappointing and it has been decided to fish this week's match from 1-6pm on Honeysuckle Lake.

After good fishing in the week, the match this Sunday was hard. Just three ounces separated winner John Swaim and second placed Graham Marsh.
