The next five anglers all came from Raveley with Wades' Mick King's 6lb 8oz the best of those pegged at Factory Bank. Second in the match was Wades Dale Stones with 9lb 15oz just half an ounce ahead of Hotrods' captain Tim Nash. Stanjay Saturday Open Match

THERE were only five anglers present for Saturday's match and although the main river was fishable, the lack of rain in recent months has resulted in the river being far too clear. Paul Kilby won the match with 1lb 9oz and Ray Myring and Ian Benton shared second place with just ounces. This week's match will be held on Cromwell Lake which has more colour and should hopefully provide better fishing.

RESULT: 1 Paul Kilby, Ramsey 1lb 9oz, 2 = Ian Benton, VDE Stanjay MG and Ray Myring, St Ives 3oz.
