THE fourth round of the teams of four was fished on Sunday with leaders Blueboys winning again and consolidating their overall team position. Fox Match Stanjay Red were equal second and still have a chance of finishing second in the league. They provided the winner of Trev's Lake - Simon Easey - and Ricky Young who was third on Snake Lake.

THE fish were in a hungry mood for Brampton's opening match of the season at Sewell's Lake on Sunday.

Colin Oliver found three of the lake's elusive bream in his match-winning weight of 21lb 13oz. Nick Marriott was second with 107 skimmers and hybrids to 12oz in his 19lb 10oz net. Paul Irons was third with 14lb 14oz.

The average weight per angler was an impressive 14lb 8oz. The next Brampton match is at Sewell's, on Sunday June 29.

Grahams Pond

GARTH James followed his personal best carp catch - pictured in last week's paper - with his first ever match win on Saturday. Drawn in peg nine, Garth caught on pellet to weigh in 8lb 10oz.

Plumb-It Challenge

THE final first round match in the Plumb-It Challenge saw an easy win for Spitfires 'A' over the Wagon and Horses. Spitfires provided the top three anglers in Pat Magillop, Bob Stobart and Graham Marsh.
