Alconbury have scooped the first piece of St Neots & District Sunday League silverware of the season.
They had to beat LP Wanderers in their final match of the Stanjay Trophies Invitation League on Sunday to leapfrog Barley Mow and take the title.
And they did just that with a storming second-half comeback to win 3-1 at Alconbury Sports & Social after being behind at the break.
Michael Mackrell, Jon Horsley and Adam Rothery hit the goals for a team who can complete a title double in the Premier Division.
They have won their only game in that competition to date with Barley Mow again looking set to pose the stiffest opposition.
