A small cohort of St Ives athletes again participated in a top level 1 swimming meet at Luton Inspire Pool over March 16/17 bringing home a plethora of life-time best swims and a haul of top placed medals.

As they endeavour onwards with their spring swimming campaign, all swam sublimely and achieved highly, and were a great credit to the club and district.

The eight swimmers competing were: Elliot Megginson, Toby Jones, Josh Marshall, Chloe Butler and Isla Hamilton who all swam superbly attaining life-time best swims against excellent competition.

Chloe Butler - gold 100 breaststroke, gold 200 butterfly and won race by 13 seconds, 200 breaststroke, silver 100 butterfly and finally we had four golds, two silvers and one bronze.

Felix Guy Pinkney and Maya New swam superbly in their races attaining life-time bests.

Next we have about 25 swimmers at Braintree in Essex at their level 3 Open Meet, then a break except for Chloe Butler who will be swimming at the Norwich Open Meet.
