The Hemingford Colts under 9s Yellow side have made their debut on the international stage in France, playing in the Europa Cup tournament in the iconic PSG stadium in Paris.

Nine Colts travelled to the Parc Des Princes stadium for the tournament on June 3-4, where they got to play on the same ground graced regularly by Champions League talent.

The annual competition gives junior teams from around the world the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play at the 48,000-seater stadium, home to Paris Saint-Germain.

Each team had the opportunity to experience what it is like to be a professional footballer, lining up in the player's tunnel and taking part in the tournament on the full-size pitch.

"The electrifying atmosphere, vibrant energy, and camaraderie among teams from diverse corners of the world fueled their determination to deliver nothing short of their absolute best."

Team manager Tim Lowe said: "We couldn't have done this without our supporters.

Their encouragement has been the driving force that spurred the team onward and upward. The players represented their community and nation with the ultimate goal of making their supporters proud."
