St Neots Town Football Club under 18s are celebrating another hugely successful campaign after winning the league for a fifth consecutive season and completing the league and cup double.

St Neots followed up their Huntingdonhsire Youth Cup win in April by securing the league title on the final match of the campaign with a 6-0 thrashing against Soham Town Rangers.

The win meant St Neots pipped Wisbech St Mary to the title by one point to secure the fifth consecutive title, excluding the uncompleted Covid years.

The squad then joined on May 12 for their awards evening to celebrate their success which was hosted by director of football Iain Parr and team manager Ben Webster with club president John Walker presenting some of the awards.

However, there was some sadness as long-standing director Iain announced that he was standing down as Academy Manager, although he will continue in his other club role.

Managers Player of the Year was won by Adam Baker, Players Payers of the Year was won by Max Kimpton and Leading Goalscorer was won by Joe Jackson, who scored 25 goals in just 16 matches.

The final awards were given to all players who picked up their league winners’ trophies.
