Swimmers from St Ives Swimming Club celebrated a triumphant return to the Junior Fenland League by picking up 13 first-place medals and finishing second overall.
Around 22 swimmers aged 13 and under travelled to Mildenhall for the first round of the junior swimming league over the weekend (March 11-12) to compete against other swimming clubs across the region.
SICC faced off against Peterborough, St Neots and Mildenhall and battled to a second-overall finish, just missing out on first place to Peterborough.
One of SICC's senior swimmers, Pete Brystow, also enjoyed a strong weekend of swimming at the Swim Wales Masters Long Course Championship on March 3-5.

Pete picked up two bronze medals in the 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle before racing home with a time of 33.92 seconds to win silver in the 50m breaststroke in the men's 30-34 event.
A spokesperson for SICC said: "All swimmers performed superbly, from Juniors to Seniors, over a busy weekend of swimming.
"Very good results at the start of the competition season."
