St Neots Men's 1s scored nine for a second time this season as they eased to a 9-2 away win against local rivals St Ives Men's 3s.

Leading goalscorers Phil McMorris and Brad Forsdick both scored hattricks in a dominating and lethal performance.

The Saints flew into a 2-0 lead after four minutes, thanks to two from McMorris, with Dave Martin adding two well-taken goals alongside a Forsdick score to make it 5-0 at the break.

St Ives kept on fighting hard though and were rewarded with two goals early in the second half, either side of another Forsdick score to make it 6-2.

Two more goals from McMorris and one from Forsdick meant both completed their hattricks to help St Neots record their joint biggest win of the season.

It was a contrasting day of results for the other men's sides though, after all three lost their away games.

In the women's teams, the St Neots 1's picked up their first win in six games as they defeated Norwich City 2 at home 3-1 in a fantastic result.

Tanya Sargeant, Sadie Werrett and Ruby Lane were all on target for the Saints to help end the winless run.

Meanwhile, the women's 2s recorded another big win, but the 3s lost out at home.
