St Ives Cycling Club finished strongly in the final Eastern Cyclo-Cross League race meet of the season with a best finish for young rider Charlie Coad-Bell.

Seven men and two women competed in the West Suffolk Cross in West Stow Country Park on February 5 to see off the season in style in round 12 of the league.

Charlie, 15, was the outstanding performer and continued to show how good he is with a second-place finish in the youth race, only 20 seconds behind the winner.

With the league now complete, ten riders participated in the Mille Malgia Gravel/Off-road event in Suffolk on February 18.

More than 100 orders took part in the sportive event and enjoyed a dry track with a bit of sand on a great day of social riding.
