Seven junior runners from Huntingdonshire Athletics Club (HAC) have represented their county at an inter counties competition. 

The runners took part for the Cambridgeshire Athletics Association in the SEAA Inter Counties Championships at Horspath before the new year. 

And one of HAC’s rising stars impressed. 

Noah Scott-Donkin shone to finish second in the Under 15 B race in a time of 12:13, just three seconds behind the English Schools 1500m champion. 

Becca Smithwas also the first finisher for Cambridgeshire in the Under 13 Girls race.

U13G: 45th - Rebecca Smith. 

U13B: 50th - Frankie Benstead; 58th - Harry Pateman. 

U15B: 2nd - Noah Scott-Donkin. 

U17M: 42nd - Aedan Lydon; 54th - Dom Pauley; 58th - Tom Waterworth. 

Huntingdonshire Athletics Club has a senior and junior team and compete in the Frostbite League. 

They have won the first three of six races scheduled for the current season.
