EYNESBURY Rovers stalled again in their promotion push as they were stunned by a late AFC Kempston Rovers brace at Hall Road yesterday (Tuesday).
The first half ended goalless but Jamie Graham fired the hosts ahead six minutes after the interval. Ashley Favell doubled their advantage and looked to have secured the points after 65 minutes.
The visitors did not give up though, and Josh Bamford reduced the deficit after 79 minutes. With the away team pushing forward for an equaliser, it was found by Aaron Baldwin in the final minute of play.
Eynesbury Rovers now sit sixth in the table, seven points off the promotion places and 13 points off league leaders Peterborough Northern Star. They next play Whitworths away on Saturday.
