HUNTINGDONSHIRE Regional College's ladies six-a-side team is celebrating after winning the Southern England Students Sports Association (SESSA) Women's Football League 2009.
In a round-robin competition the HRC ladies saw off the challenge of eight other teams. Jade Bell and team captain Hannah Stubbs ran opposition defences ragged and showed the killer touch in front of goal, clocking up 55 strikes between them.
Stubbs said: "We put in a great team effort and the win was well deserved."
The team are now preparing for the 11-a-side SESSA Cup in February.
