Youngster Oliver Wood, just 15, was the sixth individual to finish in his first adult triathlon, and beat his coach in the process.
The St Neots event was the BRJ member’s first adult triathlon. At least three of the triathletes that finished ahead have represented Great Britain in their age groups.
He also beat his coach Andy Matson, 27th overall. Andy did however win the VM50-54 and he said of Oliver “Second in his age category is outstanding.”
