Charlotte Edwards has won a second successive England women’s player of the year award.
Edwards, from Pidley, received the award during a ceremony at Lord’s on Monday night.
It is recognition for a fine year in which she guided England to one-day series wins over India and New Zealand and Twenty20 series triumphs against South Africa and New Zealand.
Edwards was also presented with a silver England cap to mark her milestone 200th international match against New Zealand three months ago.
