St Ives boxer Tyler Goodjohn made a triumphant return to the ring last night.
Goodjohn enjoyed a smooth points victory over Croatian opponent Ivo Gogosevic at the York Hall in London.
It was the 24 year-old’s first outing at welterweight and under the St Ives Boxing Academy banner following an 11 month absence.
But stablemate Karl Wheeler suffered a defeat on the same bill. The Peterborough-based fighter went down on points to Bulgarian Yavor Marinchev in a cruiserweight clash.
More on both boxers in the Hunts Post this week.
