Mark Ducket’s reign as Eynesbury Rovers manager got off to the best possible start in his absence last night.
The new chief was abroad and missed a 3-0 success at Yaxley in the United Counties League Premier Division.
Ryan Vale fired Rovers ahead from the penalty spot after a quarter-of-an-hour.
They had to wait until 15 minutes to go to double their advantage courtesy of Joe Bradbury before Matty Bannister struck in stoppage time for the second successive match.
Rovers’ third successive victory has lifted them into the top half of the Premier Division table ahead of a trip to Harborough Town this Saturday.
