St Ives Cycling Club star Jason Kierman launched his 2016 season with a fine result in the LVRC Omnium at the Wales National Velodrome.
Kierman took fifth position in the opening scratch race and followed up with third in the pursuit before winning the elimination event.
The second day began with a disappointing sixth in the 750m time trial, but he was back on song with second in the flying lap discipline before clinching third place overall by occupying the same spot in the points race.
Kierman hopes to defend his two British Masters titles in the 40-45yrs age group this year and also aims to grab a medal at the World Masters Championships in Manchester.
