CAMBOURNE Eagles U11s fought off the challenge of 14 other teams to win at the weekend's Priory Parkside football tournament.
Rukky Diejomoah was the hero, scoring the only goal of a tight final against host side Priory Parkside A, as well as pairing with Luke Day to score in a 2-1 semi-final win against Cherry Hinton.
Manager Mark Gibbs said: "It was a fantastic team effort from all the lads."
Elsewhere, Godmanchester U12s claimed victory in their age group, defeating Fulbourn Falcons 2-0 in the final. The team conceded only one goal in their six matches across the day.
Toby Graham scored the only goal of the U8 final for Godmanchester, seeing off rivals Somersham Youth. Patrick Forshaw was also among the goals.
