A TOP schools athletics event - dubbed Cambridgeshire's Mini Olympics - is being held in St Ives next month.
Pupils in school Years Five and Six are eligible for the meeting, which will include event such as the 80m, 600m, standing long jump and relays.
The event, organised by Priory Junior School in St Neots in conjunction with Riverside Runners, will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, June 28.
Bronze, silver and gold medals will be awarded to top performers at the three-hour long event, hosted at the St Ivo Athletics Track.
n Children taking part in the 600m are restricted to only competing in that event, plus the 600m relay.
