Long Buckby 1 St Neots 2

SAINTS stretched their unbeaten run to with a 2-1 win away at Long Buckby.

Buckby had the better of play in the first half, taking the lead in the 40th minute.

It wasn't enough to take Buckby into the break ahead though as a lapse in concentration allowed Saints' Nicky Hurst to score unmarked from a Matt Endersby corner.

Buckby had chance to take the lead after an hour when Saints defender Gary Watts gave away a penalty for hand-ball, only for Louis Pilgrim to miss the kick.

Playing with ten men due a controversial red card for the hand-ball, Saints won it with only ten minutes to play.

James Hatch scored from a free kick, Endersby again setting up the goal.

Boston Town 4 St Ives 0

ST Ives travelled to Boston Town, coming away with a 4-0 defeat.

Boston scored after 10 minutes, adding a further two before half-time to give St Ives a lot to do in the second half.

St Ives did well to stem the Boston attack in the second half, but they couldn't narrow the deficit and conceded another goal in the final minute to cap off a disappointing afternoon.

The visitors then managed to pull one back with a penalty of their own.

Chris Parker got on the end of a Carl Taylor cross to restore the advantage, a fourth Needingworth goal coming soon after from a Nick Mead header.

Little Paxton 0 Riverside Rangers 1

RANGERS continued an impressive run to take the points against Paxton with a well-earned 1-0 victory.

Both teams fought hard in the first half, Rangers putting together some good passing whilst Paxton defended with spirit.

Neither team could edge ahead and they went into the break tied.

Good Paxton defence continued to thwart Rangers' best efforts, with some excellent saves denying the visitors.

Some changes for Riverside brought a new edge to their game and with fifteen minutes remaining Brian Francis crossed to Carl Foreman, who volleyed in the winner.
