A crew from Magpas Air Ambulance airlifted a young girl to safety yesterday (September 12) after she fell from a horse in Huntingdon.
The team arrived on the scene at 5.04pm before assessing the girl, who had sustained an arm injury.
Magpas doctor Scott Knapp and paramedic Dan Read then provided pain relief before the girl was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
Upon arrival, she was reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
The helicopter crew supporting the medical team were pilot Andy Figg and crewmember Lee Kennedy.
