THESE happy snappers were among 28 young carers who enjoyed a ceramics, printing and photography half-term activity day with Crossroads Care Cambridgeshire.

The youngsters, aged nine to 15, took part in workshops where they made clay elephants, printed their custom-designed t-shirts and snapped and developed their own photographs in the dark room.

The course was the first of its kind to have been held at Huntingdonshire Regional College.

Caroline Twin, young carers youth leader with Crossroads, said: “We had a great turn-out for the event and, in fact, the college had to put on an extra print workshop because of the number of young carers we had.
